Hello, i randomly find Firmware Files in the discussion threads here but no v1.99 and as i understand correctly i need it and the second bootloader to update to v2 . is this intentional or am i missing something ?!
Same here. I would like to upload version 1.99 firmware as it is impossible to find out which version is currently installed and the official v2 is not released yet. Where do we find the v1.99 Sysex file?

Firmwares for V1.99 & Secondary boot loader are included within V2.b6 folder.

I guess once official release is out these will be sorted, It has been asked also for a Mono firmware check routine which was mentioned will be included at some point. I think with official V2 or a later update.

Were you able to update, I’ve been trying all day to upload V1.99 with SysEx Librarian as described in the Norand Update procedure document, and after all the LEDs light when the V1.99,syx has finished playing nothing else happens and if I turn it off when I turn it back on nothing works like its bricked. Frustrating.

So I figured out what I had done wrong that may have impacted the way the Mono was responding to the OS updates (or not responding). After trying to install OS V1.99 several times I rdecided to remove the MIDI dyn cables from the Mono (for another reason unrelated to Norand Mono) then I installed the OS V1.99 which was then a success, then later I installed Beta V2.06b with success.
Maybe it is common place with sending OS over USB to first remove all MIDI dyn in/outs, if so user error

small steps … i updated to 1.99 without midi cable attached (thx!) and without problems 
installed factory presets , and i think i wait a little and then update further …
