This one got me so badly that I was about to take the Mono back to the shop.
After setting the pot mode to Passthru the unit behaved as if t was bricked.
LEDs were blinking quite randomly, and new notes in new pattern would play once and only clock on any other loop.
Touching any knob would basically brick the unit. Couldn’t change the pitch, cutoff or in face any other setting. There was a constant whine from the audio out, or after a restart no signal was going out at all.
After reinstalling the firmware, calibrating, I remembered that the last setting was the passthru.
Tested - works fine in any other setting, but Passthru kills it every time.
Hmmmm. I am not experiencing this.
Does this happen with no MIDI input or output? As in the MIDI jack is physically disconnected?
I’ve had issues with random MIDI messages interfering with things, even though I thought MIDI was “off”
Hey, it did happen when mono was in clock slave mode, via DIN MIDI.
After that all my panic / testing was done with no MIDI or usb connected. It would seem that no matter all other settings, mono becomes an uncontrollable buzzing brick when Passthru is selected.
I think I tried all combinations of settings, including scales, patter lengths etc. and the result is always the same.
