New owner - The Run button does not light up nor start any pattern

Not sure if I’m missing something very basic but I can’t get the Run button to play any sequences. It doesn’t light up at all . I’ve followed the approach on a couple of videos and looked at the manual but I can’t see anything I may have overlooked.
Updated to firmware 2 . Thanks.

You may need to check the MIDI/Clock mode and toggle it to A for internal.

Thanks. This does activate the Run button, when I reboot I have to reset the Midi/Clock mode again though, maybe I have to save the setting ?

yes you need to save , for each pattern
