Morphos feature request

It’s great to have the FREQ knobs quantised to semitones but after dialing in the root note it would be great if the quantisation could be switched from semitones to thirds, fifths or octaves… I’m in the “octave switches FTW” club when it comes to VCOs lol…
In terms of coding this surely wouldn’t present too much of a challenge for Mathieu and his team  but there is a problem with the idea according to Mathieu… The user interface doesn’t have any dedicated controls for this feature and “doubling up” UI elements by using button combos is kind of “against” the Norand philosophy… I don’t fully agree with him because I think this feature would be valuable enough to warrant the use of a simple button combo for the “menu dive”…
Here’s a possible solution that wouldn’t take too much of a learning curve
There are 3 WAVE buttons, one for each VCO and one for the MOD section…
Press and hold the MOD WAVE button and the WAVE button for the VCO whose quantisation you want to change. Press BANK or LAYER to move the quantisation for that VCO one level UP or DOWN with that VCO’s MORPH pads showing the quantisation “level” - e.g. no pads are “lit” is semitones, first pad is lit is minor thirds, second pad major thirds, third pad fifths, fourth pad octaves…
In any case, I hope this feature request seems interesting enough to not dismiss it merely for the sake of simplicity lol…
Cheers!

hi there,
I’m also fan of octave switches that are very handy especially with TZFM. That said your option would clearly cope for this and I’ll add a +1.
However, I’ll also respect Mathieu’s philosophy if he think it’s not proper, be it. Not a deal breaker neither.
At this price tag, I’m less demanding. The sound seems really top notch, some interesting preset approach without menu diving is pretty clever and playable (and more importantly, CV’able -i don’t think I’ll use the sensor pad much actually).
Where I think there is a bias in the reasoning is that the quantized to semi tones pitch knob creates scaling (step) when moving the pot? So why not with musical intervals? I hope this is not the case when using morph function and CV anyway, we want fluid constant CV over pitch modulation.
