- often after working fine for 30 minutes it will power off and make horrible squealing noises
- The unit often stops responding to midi notes but still listens to clock and start stop. I have to power cycle the unit 1-5 times before it listens again.
- also^ the mono still passes midi thru, midi is definitely getting to the mono and it just ignores it.
- If i turn the unit off and on while power is plugged in, all the lights turn red and it makes an insane squealing sound
- The only way i can power cycle the unit is by leaving the switch [on] and taking the usb c cable out and putting it back in.
- it is SO picky on usb c power, i don’t know why you would make it usb c but explicitly NOT power delivery PD, and also most good quality usb c cables that i power my syntakt/digitakt with will not work with the mono, i’ve only found 1 combination of power brick and usb c cable that the mono likes.
- catches on midi notes and gets stuck all the time.
- slide seems to just not actually work on certain patches
- wont remember master volume setting on power down so the unit is always blasting at full volume when you power up, i have to set patch volume very quietly
- cant plug a balanced cable into the line output otherwise it phase cancels and you get no sound.
- have tried contacting support for 2 years and have literally never received a reply
Also on top of like serious serious bugs, so often i power on and my patch has changed tuning by a semitone somehow, or is slightly sharp or flat, ive recalibrated a bunch but basically this unit is so much work to just get it talking to other devices staying in tune and staying powered on.
